Amelia Calderon is an internationally published fashion photographer. She received her Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Kent in Canterbury, England and then studied Photography at the New York Film Academy. Her love of photography began when she was a young girl. As an only child, she was always the subject of her father’s photos, but eventually she decided that she wanted to be on the other side of the lens. She often combines different styles of photography: whether it be architectural with fashion, portraiture with art, or documentary with a touch of fiction.
She has shot fashion shows at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week New York and Milan Fashion Week for the Fall/Winter 14 season and has photographed live music concerts for a Washington, D.C. music blog. She goes back and forth from DC to NYC and is available for freelance work.
